Mountain-Dew Bullet
by Bodo Frog
The spotted strangeness of a leopard
Glides through my living room
Throwing a mathematical curve ball
On my bed
So soft and cozy
My hand glides up her leg
As she
Gives me a Mountain-Dew
When I think I am drinking a Sprite
As she glides into my eyes
And swims around for a second
I laugh and shut her off
As she's climbing
The ladder
Dripping wet her drops
Splash into my sweat
Soaked eyes
I look up and
Take a peek
We exchange spit long
Enough to taste her
Sweetness a bolt of
Lightning to my love Popsicle.
She's been in my room
On my bed I wish I had
A castle in Scotland
I could stare at her
Face forever
As she's buzzing down low
Over and over.
In the mirror in the sink
Water I splash us into existence
And rub her till she burns like fire.
I clamp down on a piece of leather
As she pulls the bullet
Out of my heart with her teeth and spits it
Into the wall for safe keeps.
BANG!
We lay next to each other smoking a cigarette in the dark solitude
of repose like two fireflies finding each other in the soft summer
night.
